A little about us...
Welcome to Rainbow’s End Alpacas. We are nestled in the beautiful countryside of the U.P. on Michigan. Soft rolling hills, beautiful lakes and streams are all around us. Four seasons of color grace our land year round. It is commonly known as “God’s Country.”
Here at Rainbow’s End we concentrate on fineness and density in our animals. We also believe in treating our animals and friends (old and new) with the utmost value and consideration.
We are always asked the same question: “Why Alpacas?” and “What do you do with them?” My answer is always the same – “because they are an investment you can love.” Who wouldn’t love those big brown eyes?! The financial benefits are of course another major reason.
One of the biggest pleasures we have is watching them graze in the fields. It is such a peaceful and beautiful sight. After a stress filled day, you will instantly wind down after a few minutes with your animals.
A Family Event
Alpaca farming is truly a family event. Our two children are now grown with little ones of their own, and they all love spending time with the “paca’s” as the grandchildren call them.
It is a wonderful environment to raise children in. They learn the value of respect toward animals, develop good work skills and get to enjoy clean farm living. Even Molly, our Australian Shepherd, gets into the act from time to time.
